We did a small thing for something very big for the children at a Hospital in New Jersey.

Our customer was planning to honor her mother’s memory, who passed away from cancer at this hospital, and decided that the best day will be our customer’s birthday.  The mission: To give something to the children cancer patients at the hospital where her mother was cared for during her last days with us in this world.

For Lisamar Designs It was an honor to be part of this memorial. To give back to others in time of need is a privilege and we must thank God for it. We created a tag to attach to the presents and that small tag had to carry the message without any words. It had to carry HOPE, it had to carry PEACE and the most important it has to show them somebody CARES.

It was our first experience of this type, but it won’t be the last and you can be sure that I will let you know and give you the opportunity to be part of it the next time.

Ifound an article in the paper saying the ultimate wedding color to go is all WHITE.
Of course, white is the color for brides, but this time they mean more head to toe white; it's more like floor to ceiling and everything in between white.
They say you can blame Kate Middleton at her Royal Wedding when even her sister was wearing white and still got the public attention. "I think the royal wedding will have an influence on brides for years, even decades to come.." says the Martha Stewart Weddings' Editorial Editor.
No wonder Beyonce and Kim Kardasian went all white at their weddings.
Thera are hundres of shades of white, from bright, blueish diamond to creamy, yellow egghel. The color sheme of white should be in the same family, although not 100 percent matching.

KUSUDAMA FLOWERS

Kusudama originate from ancient Japanese culture, where they were used for incense and potpourri; possibly originally being actual bunches of flowers or herbs. The word itself is a combination of two Japanese words kusuri, Medicine, and tama, Ball. They are now typically used as decorations, or as gifts.

The Kusudama is important in origami particularly as a precursor to the modular origami genre. It is often confused with modular origami, but is not such because the units are strung or pasted together, instead of folded together as most modular construction are made.

It is, however, still considered origami, although origami purists frown upon using its characteristic technique of threading or gluing the units together, while others recognize that early traditional Japanese origami often used both cutting  and pasting, and respect kusudama as an ingenious traditional paper folding craft in the origami family. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kusudama

Alert to Piracy

To all fans and customer of LisamarDesigns.

One of you, my fans, just wrote me to let me know of another website using Lisamar designs as their own and selling them. They are even using our pictures to promote the products. For us it is an honor because this means they appreciate and value our designs. If they were only using it in a blog to create a tutorial, and gave LisamarDesigns the credits, it won’t be a problem. The problem is that they are selling my designs and I should not be competing with myself.

I believe using someone else’s designs won’t bring you closer to your goals, we all have the creativity it takes and all we have to do is put the creativity to work.

We have taken the necessary action to stop it and avoid it to happen again, but if you find something similar happening, please don’t hesitate to bring it to my attention as this appreciated fan did.

He recibido un email de uno de mis seguidores diciendome que hay personas en el internet usando mis diseños para venderlos y no solo eso usando mis propias fotos, para mi es mas que un honor que esto este sucediendo, porque significa que mi trabajo les gusta, pero el problema es que si solo fuera usado en un Blog, yo no tuviera ningun inconveniente en que usaran mis diseños para hacer un tutorial siempre y cuando le dieran los creditos correspondientes a Lisamar, pero el problema es que estan vendiendo el producto y yo no quiero competir conmigo misma. Solo exhorto a todos a que si yo lo hice, tu tambien lo puedes hacer, toma tiempo pero al fin se logra. No creo que haya que copiar a otro para alcanzar la meta. Todos tenemos creatividad solo hay que sacarla a flote. Ya he tomado las acciones pertinentes para que esto no vuelva a suceder, pero claro si llegaran a ver algo por ahi, solo dejenmelo saber como lo hizo esta persona a la cual le agradezco por ser una seguidora fiel.
